17 years old about 17-20% bodyfat

Bw:185 lbs
Height: 6 foot
Bench 190 lbs
Deadlift 350 lbs
Squat 260 lbs

I would like to get a more fit bod without directly cutting or going in a major defecit.
Is there really a way to do a body recomposition
Some say i should just focus on eating healthy and training hard with good rest and a moderate high protein intake, should i do so?
I have problem with the way i am viewing myself im the mirror, i think that it must be fixed before i go crazy.
