Intermittent fasting & Starvation mode

Hi,

Trying to lose weight from 222lb for 1.82m. Age : 23.

Going to the gym 6/7 D. 1h30-2h split sessions. Also doing some HIIT and cardio training here and there.

1/ I'm wondering if fasting in a 16-8hour fashion could lead to the opposite consequences in terms of fat storage in comparison with a regular diet plan. Would my body store more fat than he would normally do when i'm breaking the fast, for the same amount of food ? (The reasoning comes from the idea that food deprivation would convince the body to store more fat whenever he get some)

2/ Is it true that fasting even for small periods like 16 or 18 hours stimulates the creation of GH and Testosterone, leading to bigger gains ? If it is, when would be the best time to practice, in order to get the full benefit from that.
