Question about nutrition and macronutrients

I'm just getting back into the workout grind again after taking some time off for the military. I started my bulk almost 2 months ago and have gained about 10 pounds. I am 5 feet 9 inches and weigh 174 pounds. Now I'm trying my hardest to learn about nutrition and what I need to do to better myself. I was aiming to eat around 3000 calories a day with my macros being as followed.
Fat: 87g
Carbs: 275g
Protein: 208g

I'm struggling to eat high caloric foods while trying to maintain a "as clean as possible" bulk. However, I find it hard to get up to where I need to be for calories. My main question, which might sound dumb is just meeting my macros going to help me with the muscle gain? Or is meeting the calorie goal of 3000 necessary for it to work as best as possible? I find that sometimes I can meet my macros without making it to my goal for overall calories throughout the day. Am I supposed to add more snacking in between even if it goes over my macros? Sorry if this question is lacking any logic. Any help would be great!

I also attached a photo of where I am currently at sorry I never took a "before pic".
