I have done some research around this but haven’t really been able to get an answer.
My legs have always been lagging due to injury on my right knee. I’ve always done what I can but it still bothers me. I would like to really focus on them in the next year to try and bring them along. I don’t really want to do a full on bulk because it’s only my legs where I’m looking to gain size; I only want to maintain my upper body.
So, if I eat at a deficit, say for example 1800 calories on upper body days, and say 3000 calories (maybe more I have a pretty high metabolism) on lower body days, would this work for putting on some size in my legs?
Any comments and advice is much appreciated.
