So recently I've gotten done cutting. I don't have a six pack but I did get to my desired weight. I've been eating 1-1.2 grams of protein per lb since I've been lifting and I felt like I might getting too much i.e. frequent urination, feeling tired, lots of acne, etc.
A week ago I experimented with only .7-.8g per lb a day for 5 days. I started sleeping better, and maybe feeling better although this could just be placebo. Yet by the end of those 5 days I felt like I was smaller and definitely struggled to lift the same weight I'm used to. You might think this is just due to a long cut but I never really lost strength during that, if anything I got slightly stronger. On top of that, I lost about 3 lbs after those 5 days, this might be due to water retention but combined with loss of strength and looking smaller I don't want to take any more chances.
So obviously I cant eat less protein even though I think it made me feel better. What are other options? I want to try protein cycling..there's a video on YT about it.
