Question about protein absorbtion

Hi,

I just started the gym 3 weeks ago and I am currently eating 2 meals a day. (12 and 5)

Someone told me that the body can only absorb a certain amount of protein per hour and that it's better to split them into 6 different meals.

Is it true or can I keep eating twice a day?
