I'm currently on a lean bulk and am measuring everything i intake to the nitty gritty. My bodyweight at the start of my lean bulk was 170 and after 2 months I am now 164. This is my first lean proper bulk. I am noticing lots of gains and i have gained noticeable mass around my body as a whole especially my stomach to where my abs aren't as visible as they were when i was on a cut.
So my formal question is why is it that I am gaining noticeable mass around my body but the weight scale says i'm losing weight? Mind you this is my first proper bulk. I used to just eat everything in sight and claimed gains when in reality i was just getting fatter.. Does anybody have an answer to my struggle?
Should i eat more? I'm eating 500 more cals from maintenance because i don't want to gain unnecessary fat. Should i up it to 1000 cals? Or does the weight scale even matter?
