Hello,
I am 35, 6ft, 330 lbs. I've been lifting (progressively heavier) weights for a few months now and have been trying to educate myself on nutrition. One of the points that I've seen a lot of conflicting information on is how much Protein to consume per day.
I've seen daily Protein recommendations of anywhere from .4g per lbs to 2g+ per lbs. At 330lbs, it'd be hard to consume 330g of Protein and stay under my calories for the day, also 330g of Protein a day seems (to me) like a lot.
My daily diet is pretty static, between breakfast, lunch and 3 protein drinks a day, I get around 170g Protein. When I factor in dinner, I would say I get between 190g and 220g protein per day.
Does that seem like it's too much, too little or just right for a guy my size?
Thanks!
