I know these types of posts probably get annoying, so you obviously don't have to chime in if you don't want to, but any advice is appreciated. There's lots of conflicting suggestions, and it's easy to get overwhelmed by information on the threads.
Here's what I've got:
25 y/o, 6ft tall, 155lbs, 4% body fat
Work is from 5am - 3pm, fabrication, I am on my feet the whole time, and will start every day with a coffee at 5.
1) 9am - bowl of nonfat yogurt with the equivalent of 2 fruits
2) 11:30 am - "Salad" 1 chicken breast, 1 hard-boiled egg, 1 roma tomato, 1 avocado, handful of spinach leaves, blueberries, cranberries, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, and dressing
3) 1:30 pm - celery or carrots with peanut butter or cottage cheese
*** 3:30 pm - Gym time - roughly 45 min weights (heavy weight, lower reps) 15 min cardio (2 miles treadmill) at least 1hour total - may go over depending on what I'm doing that day.
4) ??? Uncertain, I was thinking maybe something like 2 grilled egg and cheese sandwiches on whole wheat or some type of whole wheat pasta dish??? as a last meal of the day. Totally open for suggestions on this one. Should It be a larger meal or a smaller meal?
Does that seem pretty solid? Should I be eating more food? Should I switch meal 2 and 4? Should I change meal 4 entirely? If so, to what? If my current last meal is around 5:30, should I go the rest of the night without eating, or should I fit a snack in there somewhere? (bed between 10 and 11). Any input, suggestions, or alterations are appreciated. Thanks for looking.
