This is probably not news to anyone, but after years of ordering burrito bowls out at Mexican spots, I finally just made my first one at home.
Ridiculously easy - my version was crazy simple. Nutrition: 560 kcal, 65g protein, 40g carb (14g fiber), 15.5g fat.
Ingredients: 1 cup black beans, 6 tbsps shredded Mexican cheese, 6 oz. frozen blackened chicken strips (Tyson brand bought at Costco). Heat it all up (tossed the beans/cheese in microwave for 1 minute, stirring halfway). Top with some hot sauce.
My new favorite meal - affordable and nutritionally on point. Cost for 1 meal: about $2.
Sorry if this is a dumb thread, but I legit got excited by how simple, cheap, nutritional, and GOOD this came out.
