Cheat meal when cutting

Just looking for some advice and/or people’s peraonal experiences with cheat meal while cutting.

Been cutting for about 6 weeks on 1800 KCAL. making decent progress losing about 0.75 lb a week.

Lately been having a hard time sticking to macros. Keep fantising about eating a whole medium pizza, or pint of ice cream etc

Thinking about introducing a cheat meal weekly (would probably put calories for that day -2800) but worries it might affect progress to much.

When you guys have a weekly cheat meal did it throw off your weight loss goals?

Want to stay on track and this would be a mental break but also don’t want to lose 2-3 days of deficit by one day eating 2800 Cals.

Appreciate any advice or your personal experience.
