Hi all! I’ve been eating according to macros for about 4-5 months now and have a question about calorie intake.
I’ve lost 21 lbs and honestly, still feel like I’m making some progress but, have stalled on losing anymore weight (which is ok, As long as I still continue to add muscle/definition.) But, I can’t help but wonder if I would get even better results by eating more calories? (Which sounds crazy to me btw)
Based off iifym articles, I’ve read you should be eating at a caloric deficit of 500cal from your tdee but I’ve been doing much lower..
Here’s my stats and macro info:
28
Female
144lbs
5’7
Goal: Id like to lose another 5-10 lbs but care more about continuing to tone up
Macros:
2135 TDEE
1400 cal goal per day
40% protein
40% fat
20% carbs
* I know the carbs are lower than normally recommended but after some testing, these %s have worked the best for me so far. Open to upping these if it is necessary.
So, would it be beneficial for me to go up to 1700 cal per day? Is it bad that my calories are currently only 1400? I Can’t decide what to do!!! 😭
