Finally taking steps to change my body

Hi,

I am 36 and have finally decided to get my a** in shape. I have always been around 158 pounds with no definition on my chest. I am looking to finally get some definition and add some weight to my skinny frame. I know you need to eat excess calories from your norm to do that but my question is does it make a huge difference if you intake an extra 400 a day or 100 a day as long as it’s more than what I need to maintain. I am shooting for 2900-3000 a day now.

Also I have been reading and researching how to get the “big” chest but if anyone has any secrets I would greatly appreciate it.
