Hey guys, I did intermittent fasting over the winter and lost around 40lbs in 3 months with a 16/8 split. I took a break and have been eating at maintenance and started doing 5/3/1 program for strength and my squat bench and deadlift have gone up alotttt. Now I have a lot of questions to be honest I'm still in the first 6 months of me even working out but my main question is based around training in the mornings at 6 am fasted and not breaking my fast until noon when I'm at work, I've read that you need to eat immediately after working out to repair the muscle but my only time to workout is going to be in the morning when I'm fasting. I'm going to follow the same program I have been which is mainly compound lifts. Should I be drinking BCAAS pre and post wo to help maintain I've read that you can, and I've also read that it breaks your fast? I want to focus on leaning out and losing my love handles and tummy pouch, but I love lifting big mf weights. Either way I'm going to be fasting and training fasted in the mornings for the first month or two so if anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated I know I was kinda all over the place in this post but hoping someone has some insight. Thanks!!!
