Help please.
I have been intermittent fasting - 16hrs fasting, 8hrs eating between midday & 8pm - for just over a week. I have already seen some benefits & not finding it too hard. My aim is to lose about 5kgs but maintaining my muscle mass.
I initially thought that I would be working out in the morning with weights then at lunch doing my cardio - alternating squash & jogging. Therefore, I bought some BCAA power to assist me in the morning without really breaking my fast (according to online websites). However, I have realised working out in the morning isn’t going to happen with my schedule.
So I am currently playing squash & going for a run on alternate days & doing my weights workout in the evening, which is going well. I am wondering when I should take my BCAA powder & also my protein powder for best effect. Can I take the BCAA in the morning despite not working out? Or have this just after playing squash/run? Should I take my protein powder immediately after my weight workout in the evening (if before 8pm as don’t want to break my fast)?
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
