Hi, I wonder if someone with more dieting experience than myself would be able to offer their opinion here.
I have been dieting now for 7 weeks losing an average of 2lb per week. For the past 2 weeks however this has suddenly ground to a halt. Is this metabolic adaptation or water retention? i.e. Should I drop my calories, or stick and wait this out? Full breakdown below.
Bodyweight at beginning of diet: 176lb.
TDEE estimate: 2,680 cals.
Set calories: 1,930 (750 cal deficit to lose 1.5lb/week)
