I understand this may not be the most optimal way to eat but i am not looking for the most optimal diet, i am looking for the diet that suits my life style the most and that i enjoy the most. I have experience with intermittent fasting with an 8 hour window and made great gains with this method, I am considering giving OMAD a try while slowing gaining 0.5lbs per month.
I don't have a problem consuming all my calories in one meal infact i could quite easily eat more, I work 12 hour shifts and don't have a problem fasting during the day, i do drink coffee during the day time, I am not interested or wanting to do this for any potential benefits of fasting either, i just don't get hungry while i am busy at work and prefer not to eat before bed at night which i currently do while intermittent fasting to spread my meals over 8 hours.
I am interested to hear from anybody that actually has experience with OMAD and if they were still able to make steady gains and if gym performance was effected at all with OMAD? I would be eating post work out and thus training fasted, something i haven't done even with IF. I am happy with my physique at this point and happy just to make steady gains from this point on, any more gains for me is just a bonus at this point.
