so i watched an athlean-x video about this (cant link due to post count), as long as you're in a positive nitrogen balance, you can always gain muscle, even in a moderate deficit.
right now i'm at about 20% BF at 13st 3lb, i really like being this size, its my middle ground, any less i just feel thin and not good, i've just cut down from 13st 10lbs, where i was definitely getting too fat.
so my question is, if i now eat at maintenance (or there abouts) and supplement well and get really sufficient protein (over 1g per lb), can i recomp this way and build sufficent muscle while still getting the BF% down? i'm still relatively new to lifting, so i have that card at my disposal too. i'd really like to stay at this weight, so cutting or bulking is seeming tedious right now.
thanks
