Hey guys!
I am facing this problem with my training program. I am doing StrongLifts 5x5 while on a calorie deficit. Lost 2.3 kg / 5 lbs the first two weeks and 0.6 kg / 1.322 lbs in the third week.
Considering how I am getting close to the 1 lbs per week mark, I decided to keep my diet the same for this week. Everything is going well except for the following:
1. Not only am I on a calorie deficit, I workout in a fasted state early morning. That makes the workouts feel tougher.
2. Even the peanuts I am currently lifting are beginning to feel incredibly heavy.
Is there any light/quick/easy food or drink that I could eat 30/40 mins before the workouts that could help with this? I'll try subtract the equivalent calories from my dinner to keep things balanced.
