Hey guys.
Starting to get my recipe for change right, and it's time I took a hard look at my nutrition.
First step, calculating my TDEE.
Using the formula for BMR in Michael Matthews book, I get 2639 Cal.
I am 32 years old, darn close to 20 percent body fat, (best guess) and 243 lbs. I am very active, on f5 at the moment, and run/walk about 5-6 k several times a week, as well as being always on the move for work.
2639 seems awful low. I wasn't gaining any real weight on the f5, so I took that as a challenge and currently eat literally like a horse. I am getting sick of eating at times tbh. I'd like to get down to around 12 percent body fat before bulking again as i believe 20 percent is a bit too much fat to be bulking. Just knowing that over two months of eating like crazy I have only gained about five lbs. I eat quite clean, and keep protein intake up all day.
Thoughts? I'd like to be as accurate as possible with TDEE to start so I can start calculating calories so I have some data to go by. I realize right now I am flying blind, but any input would be appreciated.
