Hello, i need help. I eat 3 meals per day and have normal 8 hours of sleep. Im doing new part-time job, but problem is that its also at night , from night to the morning. I never did nigh-shift in work, so i have 2 questions about it.
1.) First question is about eating. I eat 3 meals a day, around 6 hours between them. I eat breakfast, then lunch and then dinner at night. But im working from night to the morning which means that i will eat my dinner at night and then ill be working for another like 9-10 hours until ill get back home. How to do it with food ? Should i have my normal 3 meals a day, then have nothing (even if its 9-10 hours, i dont believe in catabolism with 9-10 hours of fasting, but you know, its quite a long time) and then normally have breakfast again when i get home in the morning
OR
Should i have my dinner, and then after 6 hours my "breakfast" in the work (but i will have it really soon, in the morning like 3 A.M.) ?
2.) What about sleep ? Well the are i guess just 2 options and i really want to know your opinion what is better -> should i sleep before my nightshift and after my nightshift ends then dont sleep
OR
normally go to night-shift and sleep like 7-8 hours after it ?? What will be better ?
I never did night shifts, so I really need some guide xD thanks.
