Should I be gaining weight while bulking

I started at October 2018 weighing 149 pounds, at the first 2 months I gained 10 pounds but after that it slowed down. I was skinnyfat (am still now, but I think less). Right now I weigh 152-153 pounds, and it’s kinda staying at that weight, but my lifts are slowly increasing (kinda wish it was a bit faster) and I think my composition is changing, but my weight isn’t going up.

I don’t have abs, and I would really like to lower my fat but I also want to build more muscle. My question is: Is it normal that my weight is staying the same but I’m improving? I want to get leaner, but I don’t want to lose muscle. What steps would you take if you were me? I’m going to post an updated photo in my profile because the forum won’t let me post photos here.
