So I have been pondering this question for a couple weeks and figured I'd reach out here for help. I'm 5'7", 135lbs, and am 20 years old. I have an extremely fast metabolism as in I can almost never keep weight on me at all. I recently started drinking a 1250 ON weight gainer shake twice a day and working out with a 4 day split and put on 3 lbs in 2 weeks. Though my question was more so towards my diet and what to eat. I generally eat lean meats such as chicken, Turkey, fish, etc. In order to eat healthy. Though, these can be not so high in calories as I'm supposed to reach about 3,000 a day in order to gain weight.
Would it be ok for every now and then if I get a burger and fries, fried chicken, etc? Not all the time of course, but I didint know if it would be a terrible thing if I'm trying to bulk up. I'm not talking sweets and desserts or junk food chalked with sugar either. My ideal weight would be around 155-160lbs as I dont want to be HUGE but just throw on a little bulk since I'm so skinny. Any tips or suggestions?
