Sodium

I’m on a 2500 calorie a day diet. I track my nutrients on MFP. I don’t eat any canned food, eat out or frozen meals. Somehow my sodium intake is always floating somewhere in the 3000-3300 mg range. It seems everything has sodium. For example my breakfast this morning

2 slices of sprouted bread Trader Joe’s
170mg each - 340 total
2 Tbs of natural peanut butter - 170 mg
1 c skim milk - 130 mg
Total 640 mg

How does one get their sodium levels down?
Should I eat some cream of tartar everyday to get my potassium levels up to match my sodium levels? Would this help with health and water retention?
