I decided to start this thread because i respect this forums opinion and im ready to learn a few things and get an answer to some questions i have in my head, hope you all can help me out here.
First of all, this is about my nutrition plan that im following for a long time, i calculated the tdee long time ago and it showed that i should take 2500cals to maintain, that is my goal, just lose some fat while keeping my muscle balance i built over the years. I train 1,5hours at least 5times a week if not more. Im 22years old and around 12-13% bf and my height is 182cm (6feet?) and 172lbs. Usually, i eat the 2500cals with 200-220g protein, and around 70-90g fat and rest is carbs. I gotta say that i dont care much how quality those carbs and fat are and this is my main question here actually. Does this IIFYM thing work?
For example i eat 5-6eggs (i throw out some yolks but i wont bother you with much details) in the morning and then i eat a pastry with it, i fill it with this low fat melting cheese and it has 25g of protein in 80g of it, and i but some smoked turkey inside also. so thats my breakfast. If i were to go with healthy options i would eat the eggs anyways, but then i would eat oatmeal and fruits, i still eat some fruits thru the day but i dont like oatmeal to be honest.
