Before two weeks ago I had been eating 1200 calories and under. Starting two weeks ago, I decided to raise my base calories to at least 1300, and on leg days I add 200 extra calories to that. I've been doing lifting for legs two-three days a week, and light cardio max once a week. Its been two weeks, and I have gained a lot of belly fat, even though I'm ONLY EATING 1300-1600calories max! Any advise, what should I do??? I understand that bulking should be adding only 50-100 calories per week so I don't gain drastic fat, but my caloric intake was already too low to begin with to even lift. :( Please help. (I was thinking to now lift weekdays, with three being legs and two being upper)
