Question about recomposition

Let's say we have our average individual: 85kgs , 15% body fat , 185cm with a TDEE of 3000 calories and a BMR of 2000 calories (the rest of burned calories coming from daily activity, weightlifting and a lot of cardio).

Let's assume he eats daily 170g protein , 85g fat and 170g carbs which will probably be around 2100 calories. This results in a 900 calories deficit daily so to maintain his weight he would need to eat 900 more.

What happens to the body composition if the other 900 calories come from only carbs or only fats?

Will the body prioritize one macronutrient over another? (like use the fat and trash the protein)

How about while bulking/cutting , if you have extra calories to spare while maintaining surplus/deficit and you eat only fat or only carbs?
