Hi all.
So I just began my first ever bulking diet last week. I currently sit at 155 lbs, 5’10, 21 years old. The last 3 months I was cutting/just eating healthy. I was eating roughly 1700 calories a day, minimal carbs (whole wheat bread in am, brown rice in afternoon).
After research and calculating TDEE, I’m supposed to be eating ~3200 calories with a 50 (carb) 30 (fat) 20 (protein) % split.
I bought *JYM mass gainer which packs 650 calories per half serving. This past week I’ve been dieting like this and my energy is so low.
Breakfast: 3 eggs, olive oil, pbj on whole wheat, almond milk
Lunch: JYM mass gainer + protein + walnuts + banana + oats + honey + almond milk
Dinner: chipotle burrito or some steak combo
Snacks: raisins
Basically, I feel like crap. My stomach hurts like hell, I have heart burn, I gag all day, and I have sooooo much less energy.
I think I’m going to stop the mass gainer and just try and stuff more food into me because I think it’s making things worse. Please PLEASE advise and give me bulking tips. I also workout 4x a week and my gains in the gym are skyrocketing. Each week I’ve gone up in weight, but I can’t stand feeling like crap from this diet. Thanks!!!!
**PS: the sick feeling usually comes directly after the mass gainer shake.
