Changed to bulking diet = bad complexion?

Hi guys
this is a weird question but it's really annoying me.

Long story short, i've realized i've been doing way too much exercise and not eating enough for too long.
So over the last two weeks i've stopped doing so much exercise (less cardio) and i've been eating more (pretty much the same foods as i was before but just more quantity)

I've been feeling better (More energy, higher testosteone etc) but i have noticed one bad thing. My complexion has become really bad. I seem to have gotten very pale with dark circles under my eyes. I can't understand why this has occurred. My sleeping has been fine too. I also feel more thirsty.

Here are some of my theories:

- Body is adjusting to higher carbohydrate intake / higher sodium intake (previously this was extremely low)
- Eating more somehow reduces vitamin/mineral absorption leading to a poorer complexion
- Or eating more starches/carbs = blocking vitamins?

I can't think of anything else. I don't have any food intolerance too.
I don't want to go back to under eating but this problem is making me want to go back.
Anyone have any idea?
