What to consume during severe diarrhoea

Hi all, I checked out the below thread and only the last lengthy comment was of some help, but didn’t give me any answer as to what I can do to minimise the damage of muscle loss. Not for faint hearted, so don’t read on if this makes you squirmy.

So considering today is Wednesday here’s the background: I am on a bulk and on Saturday I had a big back workout at a new gym. Did heavier weights as my old gym didn’t have some equipment and I got excited and went a little overboard. I probably overtrained but didn’t realise it. Next day I did shoulders and I felt weaker than the week before but still had a decent session. I figured the new weights might be slightly different from my old gym and didn’t give it much more thought.

Monday was my day off and I felt bloated in the morning and had diarrhoea so all I ate was two apples and a banana, had some xtend with a small bit of glutamine and creatine mixed in to assist in recovery on my day off (this is my normal daily intra workout). Puked it all up within 90 minutes and been sick since. Can’t keep anything down and been eating 4 boiled egg whites a day, one banana taking ORS/water, some rice mixed with daal and wanted to know what I should eat. Stomach is constantly bubbling and even with nothing inside it feels swollen. I finally managed to give a stool sample today after failing to do so yesterday - tricky when it’s all liquid. I’m awaiting the stool DR/culture results. This may or may not be related but just my luck that I developed a hemmoroid at the same time, started applying cream for that and it’s feeling marginally better. The body aches are better (still aching) and taking Panadol for that.

Haven’t eaten much in the last 3 days and lost 2kg which I know is water weight but no food = catabolism. I’m getting better as I just took my first real pee in 3 days and it came out the right end yay! I know I still have at least 3-4 days (if not longer) to recover and then getting back to gym so what suggestions diet wise? I’m ordering chicken corn soup tonight and if I can keep that down maybe making some more tomorrow and blending chicken breast into it? What else can I have as drinking water just puts my gut into overdrive and what goes in just wants to come out ASAP and usually the wrong end. Appreciate any help.
