Hello! I'm a female who is 5'5, weighs 121 lbs and has about 23-24% body fat. I've been eating around 1700 calories and have been weightlifting since the summer. I'm what you might consider skinny fat. My whole body is somewhat thin but it is just my stomach that carries some fluff (love handles). I don't really have a shape so I would like to grow muscle especially my glutes and upper body. However, I am unsure if I am lean enough to increase my calories? My fear is that I would gain a lot of fat specifically in my stomach region but at the same time I am tired of having a flat bum and being shapeless. Any suggestions, please?!
