So when I calculate my macros, the protein, fat & carb intake never comes out what the calories of the food are. Is this common? Should I ignore it? Should I still count the calories of that food regardless if it does not match?
For example, on the package of walnuts there are 210 calories in 32 grams it says. It says that its 5g (20cal) of protein, 4g (16cal) of carbs, and 21g (189g) of fat, which equals 225, not 210. And not only that but 5g, + 4g, + 21g, is not 32g as the package says but 30g. Where are the other 2 grams going to and, if I were to include them in carbs per say that would be even more than 210 cal it says it is.
Help. Am I being to picky about this?
