Sometimes I like to whip up some protein pancakes which is some good post-workout snack. You can try them (if not already)
Ingredients:
> 30gm of whey isolate (Vanilla) is what I use
> 25g of raw natural Coconut Flour
> 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg
> 200g of Greek Yogurt (Plain Natural)
> Some sweetener (stevia or sucralose)
> Vanilla or Caramel drops (Calorie free)
> Tad of water
The setup,
Take a bowl and scoop in the whey, and flour.
Add Greek yogurt to it and finally put in the eggs
Add like a little water to mix (the batter should be thick, so don't overdo the water / eliminate it if not needed)
Mix it with a spoon to get the basic consistency and then even it out with an electric whipper for about 2-3 minutes
Add in the sweetener and the vanilla or caramel (What I prefer) to this. And whip again for a minute or two
The cook:
Non stick pan with some PAM spray. I use a tsp of butter instead.
The batter with above measurements should give about 4 medium size pancakes (Depends on how thick you make it)
Pair it with:
My usual go-to:
200g of greek yogurt (plain) - unsweetened baking cocoa and stevia.
Semi Freeze it and use it as a choc froyo on top of the pancakes.
Or
Chopped berries / peanut, almond butter or whatever fruits you like.
Or some good low fat ice cream. Yum!
