Hi all... So I've recently moved to a rural part of Thailand. No one really speaks any English and there isn't a great deal of choice of food. I have use of a fridge and microwave... but nothing else. I can't seem to shed the fat here! It's so frustrating and I miss cooking my own meals.
I just wanted some advice as to what you would recommend I eat. There is a Tesco Lotus near me, but again, choice is limited!
It's kind of a broad question and I suppose it is hard to know what to reply to this as you can't see what I have and can't have.
I've been purchasing a BBQ cooked chicken... but I am worried this is full of hidden chemicals. Everything you buy from restaurants is most likely full of MSG, sugars and always contains noodles or rice. (I try and explain I want none of this... but no English is spoken and I cant speak Thai).
I'm at a loss! I'm just wondering about a semi raw diet? Has anyone tried this... what do your meals look like?
this is what i'm currently eating...
breakfast - oats and coffee
lunch - BBQ chicken with salad and corn / Chicken and rice meal from street vendor
Snacks - banana, apple, yoghurt, matcha latte with whey protein and no sugar
Dinner - 2 boiled eggs, japanese sweet potato, vegetable soup
My meals don't appear to be bad... but i've been on this diet now for 3 weeks and see no change... i was ill for a week with a chest infection and my diet did go a little bit off the rails.... but nothing too extreme and I'm sure I should have some results by now
my weight is 56kg, i'm 158cm and i'm female.
