Losing strength due to changed diet or overtraining?

Hi, i want to introduce myself, i am 21 year old guy and i have been working out for one and a half year. I am 185 cm and i had 65 kg first time i decided to go to gym and i was really weak, now i have 78 kg. Anyway last week i noticed that i am really losing strength, normally i was benching 85 kg with 5-6 reps and i wanted to bench press 70 kg and i couldn't lift it twice which i found really strange because 2 days before that i could bench press 85 kg easily. I lost a lot of strength doing squats and deadlift too. Anyway i got home and i realized that i might be overtrained because last 5 months i was exercising 5-6 times a week every week. So i decided to take a break from gym for 7 days. Today after 7 days i got back to gym and i realized that i lost even more strength. I tried to bench press 65 kg and i couldn't even lift it. I was able to do only 4 pull-ups but before that my max was 12 pull-ups. Generally i really lost a lot of strength. So could it be that i am overtrained or is it because of my diet? One month ago i quit eating milk and dairy because i am lactose intolerant and because of other health problems which is irrelevant to bodybuilding and also one month ago i completely reduced my sugar intake. Or could this be some other problem? Did anyone else experience something like this and do they have some advice ?? Thanks to anyone who replies.
