I know getting a pump doesn't really contribute to gaining muscle, but I do feel it helps me feel my muscles working a bit better. Normally I workout after work at 6pm before dinner. Pre-workout I'll have a protein shake because it's easy to bring to work.
Yesterday 'tho my s/o was out with friends and as per usual I drank my gin-tonic and ate some potato chips (not gonna lie, I ate the whole bag - monster munch - not that many calories but still), which is my usual way to de-stress from my work week as a 'cheat meal'.
After that I decided to go to the gym and had a really good pump.
Is it because of all the carbs and salt in the chips?
