Question about intermittent fasting and crossfit?

I've been doing crossfit on and off for about 4 years. Pretty solid last year and half straight. I work nights so I'm to bed around 5-6am and up 1-2pm. My normal routine has been wake, breakfast and coffee, then crossfit at 4:30pm.

I'm wondering, if I try the intermittent fasting, when would be my ideal hours of fast? Can it be done safely on my schedule? I assume I need calories going into my workout, so my fast time then ideally would be 10pm-2pm the following day? And eat from 2pm (my breakfast time say and then do my workout with food in my system) until 10pm, fast again rinse and repeat?
