Question I can’t find answer to

So to start, I know I shouldn’t binge eat and I have a problem. (I’m working on it and would rather not be lectured on it) My question tho is I ate around 6k calories yesterday which is pretty well above my maintenance. I managed to get a ****ty workout in today tho and felt pretty good after. I was planning to fast today and maybe do a little cardio later. Do I still need protein today or is all the food from yesterday night helping my recovery? I’ve searched all over and can’t find an answer. Any thoughts?
