Nutrition help

Im some what new to the gym life and was curious how to actually go about building a meal plan. I know how to calculate my calories and know my daily intake target but am kinda lost on how to actually structure and plan one out to meet my personal goals and needs. I just want to make sure that all the work I put into the gym isn’t being ruined by lack of knowledge in meal planning.
