How much protein do you normally eat?

I personally usually eat about 130-140 grams every day which amounts to about 1.6g/kg bodyweight. Lately I am experimenting with higher intakes, 170-180 grams just to see if there's any noticeable benefit.

How much protein is "optimal" in your opinion?
