So I'm trying to get my requisite 0.7-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight every day (I'm 5'7", 150lbs). Thing is, it's pretty tiresome for me making sure I eat protein-rich meals. I don't actually like drinking protein shakes every day, and there's that (possibly true, possibly not) thing about how you can only absorb a certain amount of protein per meal, which means I have to eat like 5-6 times a day instead of 2 or 3 meals a day with 50g of protein each. I don't like having to eat so often.
So my question is, if I'm going to occasionally cheat on my protein intake, is it better to do it on the day of a workout, or the day after (i.e. a rest day)?
