No way around low carb diet for fat loss?

Hey, I've read multiple opinions on this topic and many "fat loss experts" claim that you have to eat low carb in order to burn stored fat since the body runs primarily on carbs. Others though have said that for example a low fat high carb diet works just as well, just takes more time.

I am really having a hard time getting into low carb because carb rich food has been my everyday eating habit my whole life. It's all of my main food supplies.
Pasta, potatos, oatmeal, bananas, apples, rice ect.
I've already reduced the amount greatly. Eating only 50g pasta with vegetables but it's still 30g carbs in one meal.
I feel like carbs are the thing that fills me the most. I do eat lot's of fish, meat and eggs, dairy but I just can't eat them everyday. So with carbs I feel more full than with just vegetables.
I try to focus on calories more. My average macros after two weeks of tracking calories are 103g carbs, 77g protein, 48g fat.
I can stay under 100g carbs if I restrict myself greatly but 50g a day seems almost impossible if I wanna eat a slice of bread or a potato once in a while.

Can I experience fat loss even without low carb or is there no way around it?

Thanks!
