Does anybody have any recommendations for fruit or vegetable substitutes that they have tried? What I am looking for is something that isn't heavy and will last 10 days or so. Every year we ride in on horseback for an elk hunt and have to be conscious of bulk as well as weight of everything we bring along with not being able to keep things cold for more than a few days. I have brought in dehydrated fruit but wondering if anybody else has anything they have tried and enjoyed.
