After reading through many threads, I am in search of a bit of advice. I am starting a lean bulk and am currently trying to determine my TDEE. I am going to weigh myself daily and take note of any fluctuations. After a week or two, I will increase my calories if necessary. Overall, I am trying to gain 0.5 lb/week (currently 190 lbs, height: 6'4"). Once I determine my TDEE, I will add 100-200 calories to that and make that my daily calorie intake. I received great information in my first post, however, I am a little confused regarding protein.
Much of my research has resulted in approximately 0.7 g/lb. At my current weight (190), that would be a minimum of 133 g and at my goal weight (205), that would be a minimum of 143.5 g. Lately, I have been hitting 160-180 g/day and I want to make sure that's not too much. Also, I have 4-5 meals per day all consisting of 25+ g of protein.
With this information in mind, if I wanted to increase my meals, would it be okay if my protein/meal is lowered to 15-20 g or should I stick to my current meal plan (160-180 g of protein, 75-80 g of fat, remainder carbs)?
