I have just finished my second week of the Reg Park 5x5 Phase 3 as follows:
45-Degree Back Extension 4x10 @ 25 lbs
Front Squat 5x5 @ 175 lbs
Back Squat 5x5 @245 lbs
Standing Barbell Shoulder Press 5x5 @ 145 lbs
Bench Press 5x5 @ 220 lbs
Bent-Over Barbell Row 5x5 @ 175lbs
Deadlift 5x5 @ 235 lbs
Behind-the-Neck Press or One-Arm Dumbbell Press 5x5 @ 110 lbs
Barbell Curl 5x 5 @ 100 lbs
Lying Triceps Extension 5x 8 @ 100 lbs
Standing barbell calf raise 5 x 25 @ 75 lbs
I train in the morning before breakfast and spend at least 2 - 2.5 hours in the gym to finish the above workout. I still eat more than 3200+ calories a day after I finish my workout.
Before the workout I have Animal stak, Animal M Stak, pre workout C4 Ultimate.
During the workout I have two servings of BCAAs (Animal Juiced or Extend BCAA).
Post workout, 2 servings of Celltech creatine and a serving of Animal real gains protein powder (high in carbs and protein)
I am worried that the intensity of the workout would hinder my bulking and use my muscles for energy (when I am on an empty stomach)? Would that be the case, or since I am using the above supplements my body would stay in an anabolic state and then the calories I eat during the day would help my bulk without losing any muscle mass?
I would prefer to do my workout in fasting mode hoping that I can burn some fat, but if it will ruin my bulk then I would have to eat something before hitting the gym.
Your thoughts please.
p.s. I weigh 195 lbs and height is at 5'10" and 20% bf
