I've spent hours researching, watching 'pros' on YT, looking at the stickies here, etc. I can't really find a clear path on the nutrition needed for myself. My goal is to get bigger. I am currently 5'11" 174lb. I've been eating clean with an average of these macros - 130-140g protein, 1750 cal, 170 carb, 35 fat.
I'd consider myself 'skinny fat' cause I have some problem areas (love handles, small amount of chest fat), but lean in my shoulders, arms, legs.
If I want to get bigger, I know I need to eat more, but if I want to cut the fat in the areas mentioned above, I need a caloric deficit? Can someone offer me a solution here? Just confused on the best approach.
