So as the title says. I recently upped my workout regimen as for about 6 months I slacked off pretty hard with both exercise and diet. I'm 6'5" I got up to almost 270 and wanted to get back down to 235. I tried doing Intermittent Fasting as I've heard great things about it. So like I said for about maybe the first month I was struggling to lose a pound or two throughout the week and I had cut my calories way back from about 3000 a day to 2200. Now about 4 weeks in it's like my diet finally clicked and I am losing sometimes a pound overnight. I'm currently at 245 and as losing weight was my goal I didnt really intend on it decreasing so fast out of nowhere. I even increased my calories up to about 2800 and still the same I'm losing maybe a pound overnight some nights. As this is great and all I'm curious as to why or how all of a sudden my body is doing this where it wasnt before and I didnt change the quality of my food intake or quantity until after the fact. Only thing different is I had a cheat meal 3 or 4 days ago of a bottle of whiskey pizza and oreos. Is this a common thing? Does it take time for your body to adjust to intermittent fasting?
