So I've been doing a lot of research about post workout carbs, high GI or low GI. Read that it doesn't matter which, read that it DOES matter which, too much contradiction. Also read that high GI carbs are more necessary if you train fasted OR if you intensely train for multiple hours. I train fasted but only for like an hour. I drink BCAAs pre and post, and start working out about 15 minutes after I wake up, so no real time for a good meal which is fine. I guess my question is, since I train fasted, should I be adding high GI carbs to my post workout? Usually just have oatmeal w/ a banana and a whey shake.
