It says coffee causes temporary insulin resistance, I don't understand how long though. I assume it lasts as long as the caffeine operate which is normally around 3 hours.
Fact is you need insulin to get protein/carbs into the muscles.
So you drink your coffee and after 1 hour you workout 45 minutes. So in theory you are still insulin resistant for around 75 minutes which means a big percentage of nutrition isn't going where you want it to?!
I can't believe I'm the first one who think about it since this study is 2.5 year old now
