5% strength loss on a cut?

Just wanted to get some opinions on how much strength loss on a cut is reasonable, assuming I want to get pretty lean.

My plan right now is to continue to drop weight slowly until I can no longer bench either 265 for a clean non grindy single or maybe if I take 5% off from that... So until I can no longer bench 250 for a single.

Currently at 173-175 ish pounds @ 5'9. Somewhere around 12-16% body fat currently. Planning to drop down slowly to at least 165 but potentially lower if I'm able to maintain at least 265 or 250 pound bench.

Does that seem reasonable? What if I get to 160 and my bench or other lifts haven't suffered yet?
